- Duration of the marriage
- Standard of living during the marriage
- Each spouse’s financial means and earning capacity
- Age and health of the parties
- Contributions made during the marriage (including as homemaker)
Spousal maintenance is a discretionary remedy, not a right, and is assessed case by case.
