The RAF covers most road users, including:
- Drivers
- Passengers
- Pedestrians
- Cyclists
- Motorcyclists
You may qualify to claim if you were not solely responsible for the accident.
You may also claim if:
- You were a dependant of someone who died in an accident
- You paid for the funeral of a deceased relative
- You were injured due to another party’s negligence
You generally cannot claim if:
- You were the driver and owner of the vehicle solely responsible
The accident involved only you and no other contributing factor (for example, losing control and hitting a tree with no external cause)
